School meals

The school tries to promote healthy eating while, at the same time, giving value for money.

With 3 dining hall areas operating on a self-service cafeteria principle, young people can chose from a wide variety, where the food and drink offered are of a high standard and also meet the needs of those who may have food allergies or intolerances. Parents/carers should inform the school through their child's Guidance teacher of any special diets, eg if a young person is diabetic.

PACKED LUNCHES

Young people who wish to bring packed lunches to school are encouraged to use the dining hall facilities.

BREAKFAST CLUB

Dining Hall 1 is open from 08.00-0.840 when filled rolls, hot drinks, cereal bars, water, juice and other snacks may be purchased.

INTERVAL

All 3 dining halls are open at interval selling a range of snacks and drinks.

PAYMENT FOR MEALS

All young people are issued with MyFife cards, which can be topped up online, to pay or prepay/order school meals. If your child qualifies for free meals, the school will be notified automatically. Entitlement to free school meals is available to those in receipt of income support. Application forms are available from the Local Area Office of Fife Council.
