Welcome from the Headteacher

Dear Parent/Carer/Learner/VisitorI Adair

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Inverkeithing High School website.

We use this portal for sharing general information with our young people, parents and carers, teachers and any others who might be interested in finding more out about our school. Within the website you will find links to up-to-date communications via our Twitter feed, our Sway Bulletins and our Termly Learning Overviews. You will also discover key school documents such as our latest School Calendar, School Improvement Plan, Standards and Quality Report, and Working Time Agreement.

Looking through our website we hope that you will gain a sense of the vibrant school atmosphere we all enjoy at Inverkeithing High School. Our mission is to develop well educated, confident and thoughtful individuals who are well equipped for the modern world, whatever, whoever or wherever they want to be. To that end, the abiding and overriding Vision for everyone at our school is that ‘We Grow By Choice’, via our Values of being ‘Ready, Respectful and Responsible’.

Since we opened in 1973, Inverkeithing High School has built up a strong reputation as a place of good learning, opportunity and success. We are committed to raising standards, aspirations, expectations and attainment for all by supporting, developing and inspiring our young people to aim high and fulfil their full potential across a range of transferable, contemporary and meaningful skills.

Thank you again for reading this and visiting our website. I do hope you find the information interesting and have managed to find out what you were looking for about the school. Should you have any comments or suggestions for how we might improve this website, information you would like added, or even further advice, please do contact us at any time. We really do value your support and are always happy to help where we can.

Kind regards and best wishes
